“Angela is an expert in her craft.  Her knowledge of writing has not only served our students in the classroom, but also our school community as a whole.  Angela has produced and edited professional-level publications over her five years at our school. Our English department relies on her expertise, and we are certainly stronger because of her.   

Angela is a superb classroom teacher. She challenges her students to produce college-level work.  Angela uses differentiated instruction and works successfully with students of all abilities.  She has built her own classroom curriculum, and her former students are more than prepared for college and career.  Angela is reflective and continually evolving her pedagogy based on her students’ needs.  

Angela is a great team player.  We can always count on Angela to bring insight and ideas to any conversation or project.  Angela leads with heart and conviction and is always working to advance justice and celebrate diversity.  She is never complacent, and she always looks for ways to improve herself, her team, and her work.  In the past five years, Angela has happily taken on any classes or tasks handed to her.  She has prepped and created curriculum for more classes than anyone else in our department.”
